Student Housing
University of Aberdeen student accommodation is split between the main campus and Hillhead Student Village, about a 10 minute walk from campus. All new students are guaranteed a place in university accommodation, provided they apply by the deadline.
Student accommodation mainly consists of apartment-style (suite) living, with each student having their own single room. Some Halls of Residence also offer private en-suite bathrooms. As most students live in apartments, with easy access to a kitchen, the majority of students opt for self-catered accommodation. The university does however also offer catered options for undergraduate students.
The Elphinstone Road Flats complex is reserved exclusively for graduate students and is based on campus, just a short walk from the library. It consists of 120 single study bedrooms, organized into apartments, each with a shared kitchen.
