The University of Strathclyde was established more than 200 years ago and has a vibrant, international community with students from more than 100 countries. The campus is very compact and students can access university buildings, the library, sport centre and other facilities with only a 5-10 minute walk.

The University has recently been announced as Times Higher Education University of the Year 2019. They are the only university to be awarded the UK-wide award for a second time. The University of Strathclyde have also been recognised as Scottish University of the Year 2020 by the Sunday Times Good University Guide, and were awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize, the highest national honour awarded to their sector.

Strathclyde students are set to enjoy a new £60 million Learning & Teaching building due for completion in 2020 which will be located in the centre of the campus. Designed with students and staff in mind, the hub will include leading-edge teaching facilities as well as providing a new home for student support services and the Students’ Union.
