The University offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Global Online which can be studied entirely online, and a variety of distance learning courses.

Edinburgh Napier is the only UK higher education institution to offer a programme, titled Confident Futures, developing employability skills for the workplace. Supporting more than 500 start-up businesses, Edinburgh Napier University thrives on entrepreneurship. Bright Red Triangle is an extra-curricular enterprise that offers business support, consultancy services and social innovation projects, giving students, graduates and staff the opportunity to work with local businesses and community organisations. 
 

LIFE ON CAMPUS 

Named the best city in the world in 2022 (Time Out Index) and home to around 60,000 students each year (Edinburgh Council, 2021), Edinburgh is the perfect place to experience student life or build your career. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the world’s largest arts festival every August, it is a buzzing, multicultural city, yet feels small, welcoming and safe.  

Edinburgh Napier University has three campuses in Edinburgh, from the heart of the city in Merchiston, home to creatives, engineers and students of computing and built environment courses. To the green and leafy surrounds of the historic Craiglockhart campus, housing business and law students. To Sighthill, Napier’s newest campus, with advanced facilities for Health and Social Care and Applied science. 
 

STUDENT SUPPORT AT EDINBURGH NAPIER UNIVERSITY 

The university’s support services help students make the most of their time at Edinburgh Napier. There is an international support team dedicated to advising and supporting international students before arrival in the UK. 

Once enrolled, students will be able to take advantage of academic and study support, which includes in-session support for all international students to help with academic English and to allow them to become more familiar with the expectations of the UK education system. Students can also access a range of personal support services including counselling and mental wellbeing, faith and spirituality, and disability and inclusion. 

The university’s careers service provides a range of support services and advice to students including one-to-one sessions, help with resumes, access to current graduate vacancies and more. Students can also take advantage of the study abroad opportunities and study for a trimester or year abroad at a partner institution. 
 

EDINBURGH NAPIER UNIVERSITY FACILITIES  

Edinburgh Napier University is proud to have invested £100m to provide some of the very best teaching and learning facilities in Scotland. Based over three campuses, it offers a variety of innovative facilities and resources, from state-of-the-art recording studios to multimedia language labs, an environmental chamber for applied sciences, and excellent research labs and sports centres. 

Napier offers industry standard facilities for learning, teaching and research. The facilities range from recently updated 400-seater lecture theatres, 500 seat 24-hour-accessible computer labs and new Active Learning Spaces; to top-notch Trimble technology engineering and building equipment, life-like hospital wards, and clinical skills simulation suites.  

Located around the city, all three campuses are easily accessible by public transport and home to diverse, international, collaborative communities.  
 

SPORTS AND SOCIETIES AT EDINBURGH NAPIER UNIVERSITY 

[EN]GAGE is the university’s state-of-the-art fitness facilities offering affordable student memberships. Facilities include a fitness suite, sports hall and access to weekly classes. Students looking for team sports can join a sports club through Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association (ENSA) while those looking for something different can join one of the many other societies on offer, supporting students throughout their university experience, and enriching your student life with culture, arts, sports and more. 
 

ACCOMMODATION AT EDINBURGH NAPIER UNIVERSITY 

The university’s student accommodation sites contain hundreds of self-catered apartments and are home to around 1,500 students. They are all well maintained and less than ten years old (built between 2014 and 2016). The accommodation blocks are all centrally located and offer great value for money. 

There’s also the option of a renting a private apartment, and the university can still help with that, with advice from how to deal with contracts to making sure you’ll love your neighbourhood. 
 

INTERNATIONAL FOCUS  

At Edinburgh Napier, there are over 3500 international students studying on campus from more than 180 countries across the world. Every one of those international students has made Edinburgh home with each one adding a unique culture and perspective to the university community.
