Across the Pond has been wonderful to us over the past year as we explored the possibility of our son conducting his undergraduate studies in
England,
Scotland or
Wales. Through the lengthy process of understanding the differences in a
UK education from a
US education, ATP was informative, supportive and responsive. Whether our concerns or questions related to the academic, social of cultural aspects of life abroad, you guys were always there with an objective, unbiased response that always kept
Bryan's long-term interest at the forefront. We are particularly grateful for the help you gave us in coordinating and facilitating our seven college visits to
Scotland and
England this past summer. Having ATP pave the way for us made the logistics much more manageable and the schools that much more receptive.
You have an excellent program that contributed in large part to removing our initial (considerable) anxiety and reservations about "junior" going off to school overseas.

I met Hannah from Across the Pond at my university and told her my history of studying abroad in
Ireland previously and my academic interests. Hannah then told me that she would email me some information on schools in the
UK. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the very next day I had an email with a list of potential schools. That single email helped me decide exactly where I wanted to attend this upcoming fall. I was able to find out exactly what each school had to offer through the email sent to me by Hannah, which made a difficult process much easier.
The only problem that I had was, trying to get all of my formal paperwork handed in. Being that I live and attended school in
Ohio it was hard for me to send my paperwork overseas. But with the help of my friends at Across the Pond I was able to digitally scan my documents and email them to Hannah. Hannah once again helped make this process go so much smoother.
One major quality that I like about Across the Pond is that in my final moments at my home university I was able to do all of my paperwork for graduate school and still have that precious time to spend with my friends and to work on my finals. Things can get very stressful in the final moments at one's home university and graduate school was the least of my worries. I was able to go about my daily business knowing that there was someone working to help me reach my academic goals. I believe wholeheartedly that Across the Pond is a wonderful organization. Best of all is that it is totally free.

I'm working toward my Masters in Literature at University of Essex. I'm enjoying myself in England very much so far and am so excited to be here
and have this experience. Across the Pond literally made this dream possible and the process of getting here - applying to schools, getting finances in order, and whatever other random questions I had - was easier than I could have ever expected.
Thank you so very, very much!!

“Honestly, I would've been lost without Across the Pond. I'm very happy that they were with me every step of the application process, and beyond. Their service is exemplary and I think many students would benefit from using their services.”
