If you are an undergraduate student who applied to British universities using the UCAS system and received all of your decisions by March 31st,  May 1st is your deadline to choose your FIRM and INSURANCE choice. Don't understand what "firm" and "insurance" means?  We understand. This is a purely British way of accepting university offers. Your student advisor can clarify this for you. Check out this link on our website for more information on the UCAS application. Here, you will also be able to sign up for a student advisor, who can help with the entire UCAS application.

You will want to be strategic with which universities you choose as your firm and insurance choices, particularly because decision deadlines in the US clash with deadlines in the UK. American schools require a commitment much sooner than British universities, throwing American students into a bind in terms of whether to accept their American option and pay a non-refundable deposit or hold out for an offer from their dream British university. Our advisors are skilled at walking students through this confusing and difficult decision, so get in touch! May 1st is less than a month away!
