The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NFTS) is an award given to academics in higher education for their achievement in both learning and teaching. It celebrates and awards professors who excel in these two areas. To date, twenty-four academics at the University of Leeds have received this nomination, which represents one of the highest tallies of this award at any one university.
Additionally, Leeds is now number 5 (up from number 8 last year) in the category “Universities Targeted by the Largest Number of Top Employers in 2016-2017” on the High Fliers 2017 report.
Conclusion: Not only can American students be entirely confident that their training and education at Leeds will be of the highest quality, they can also feel good about their odds of landing a job post-degree. A win-win!
