UEA is making big investments on their campus. Recently they opened a £30 million Science and Engineering building which is designed to promote collaboration across science and technology subjects. The four story building includes science teaching laboratories, which allows for both large and small practical teaching across science subjects.

UEA is also constructing a £7.4 million Institute of Productivity, which will serve as a regional hub for engineering, management, and technology. The institute will support businesses and allow them to work side by side with our researchers and students. It will open in September 2020.

In 2020 construction will also begin on the new building "The Sky House", which will be home for the faculty of Arts and Humanities as well as some Social Sciences. This building is set to be completed in May of 2022.
