The University of Bath is located on a parkland campus 1 mile from the centre of the

UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. Programs are offered in Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management and the Sciences, from pre-degree and Bachelors through to Masters and PhD.

Popular programs with US students include our range business degrees (including MBA), Euromasters and Economics and International Development courses. All departments have a strong research emphasis and, regardless of whether you are undertaking a taught or a research degree, this research-active environment permeates through all levels of study to ensure the latest ideas and innovations are being transmitted to students. Over 70% of academic staff work in departments with research ratings of 5 or 5*, a government ranking that indicates research of international standing.

We have very strong links with employers and industry. Over 60% of our undergraduate students undertake internships or study abroad as part of their degree program and many courses are professionally accredited, leading to Bath graduates enjoying among the best employment rates and prospects in the UK. The University itself is invariably ranked among the top 10 British institutions and this enables us to attract the best minds from around the world and not just from our own country. Over 25% of our students come from outside the UK and over 120 nationalities are represented on the campus.

The facilities at Bath are second to none. Ours was the first university library in Britain to open 24 hours a day, all our residential accommodation provides high speed internet access and there are an impressive array of support facilities, including an International Office with 9 dedicated staff, including two International Student Advisors. The campus is constantly being upgraded with new classrooms, laboratories and research institutes being added. The University also boasts the best sports facilities in the UK, including an Olympic-size indoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tennis and athletics facilities and all-weather sports pitches. Bath sent 20 athletes to the last Olympic Games.
