We are serious about sport having an Olympic-size pool, a Uni-gym with more than 80 work stations, indoor and outdoor courts and pitches; basketball, volleyball, and all the water sports you can dream of. The Athletic Union represents 45 different sporting activities from aikido to hiking, horse riding and frisbee.

The Students’ Union runs over 40 organizations ranging from the political and cultural to social and environmental, as well as a radio station, newspaper and website. Funding your studies is made as straightforward as possible at Swansea University because we participate in the US Government Federal Loan Program, so you can apply Stafford and PLUS loans towards the cost of your studies. Swansea also has a number of programs of study which have already been approved by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, so veterans can use their GI Bills to help fund their study at Swansea.
